I was born and raised in Colorado !
Born in 1953, Got Polio in 1956, one of the last from the epidemic. Right after Dr. Salk's came up with the vaccine for it. This is now a epidemic in Africa. No disease will ever be eradicated, it just hides and gets stronger. Plus most have symptoms that return during our later years. Or like me, have never totally gone away.It is like having MS! Then life brings us all the damages from our parents, High blood pressure. heart disease and osteoporosis and diabetes. All of these can be helped with MJ.. During my teens my mom threw me away. We gave each other the noides! I was into acid and speed at the time because I felt it would help.And it did when I was younger, I had all the energy I needed to work and helped keep my mind on the now and not wander. I never really got the total relieve I wanted till I found MJ.. At first it helped with my nerves. But I soon figured out that it helped me with my physical problems. The pain from Post Polio Syndrome. Plus more. I moved to New Mexico and that helped too, that was in1999. In 2004 we moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin.My husband got a offer for a job he did not want to loose out on! So I now miss all the heat that helped me in New Mexico! The cold up here is a different cold that we had in Colorado. I am cold even when it is summer here. Here I can not find relieve due to not being able to find a vendor of the product. Then I found this organization. And am ready to work hard for more than the reasons above as well as for the the USA . This is do-able And I want to help! I am also looking for contacts in Wisconsin to work with.Plus in Green Bay, I feel knowing the house and senate as much or little as I do, I BELIEVE we can do good.
I had a Mother that never liked me. Abuse was rained down on me. Then when I got married I kept the same lifestyle for 20 years. The abuse still continued. Now during that 20 years we did not do ANY drugs. It only started for me at about the 18th year as I new I was going to leave him. And needed to hide in meth to prepare myself for what I had to do! I was going to leave a man, that when his good side came out I LOVED. I stayed to help him through his Mom's death. When I left I stayed on the same path of smoking meth.
I have found the right man who loves me even when I fall from my Post Polio Syndrome. PPS is now a constant in my life. It now involves tightening of my muscles all the time, I have a very hard time not taking a nap each day. Now my short term memory is involved.The last 2 due to Chronic Fatique Syndrome that comes with the package. I have talked to a lot of doctors and nurses about this subject and down to the last one all say yes they would prescribe marijuana as an other tool to help all the the other medical problems that the drug is good for.
I will soon be 56 in Feb. I am still a viable person and am being treated like I am non-exsistant!
I watched a programon t.v. called Marijuana Nation. It gave enough information that I started to seek out others willing to help in the fight to ;
