LA CROSSE, WI (WXOW) - A couple's argument leads to their arrest on drug manufacturing charges.
La Crosse Police responded to a call at 707 Clinton Street Sunday afternoon.
According to the police report on the incident, when officers arrived, Ryan J. Lichtie, 18, and his girlfriend, Skylyn S. Williams, 19, were arguing about Easter plans falling apart.
As the investigation continued, a records check showed an outstanding warrant for Williams. She was then taken into custody.
During the conversation with Lichtie, officers noticed a couple of small bags of marijuana in the apartment. A subsequent search turned up 8 marijuana plants growing in a room.
Officers then arrested Lichtie, on a felony charge of manufacturing drugs. Williams also faces the same charge.
They're scheduled to make court appearances Monday (4/13) afternoon.
