I WAS HOPING FOR AN EASY WEEK! No such luck! I woke up and was listening to the morning (02/11/09) news and suddenly I found my self with my blood pressure hitting the high button! Several things just makes me want to go to DC NOW! They are taking away things on the sly, and doing things that WE THE PEOPLE should be voting on. I am sorry for coming down on Obama. This is not all his fault. It started before we ever knew his new his name. But he is making things worse than they where. There are people in the house and senate, that need to be fired. And we have a right to do that, by way of our Constitution. My uncle in Colorado is really upset by some of the things that are going on.
1) The guy that masterminded the USS Cole bombing was set free to move on to kill more people. And he will ! What was the reason for this! My family is a militairy family. My grandfather was in WW2. All of his sons were in one war or another, from Korea, Viet Nam, Bosnia, the first Iraq war. And the one in Afganistan. And the last one in Iraq. No We are not war mongers. But these things were asked by our Presidents, OR BY BEING ATTACKED!!!!!! Like WW2 and the two cities that were hit on our mainland in 2001. I had a uncle that parachted into one of Hitlers death camps. I remember hearing him and watching him show pictures to my Mom of what he saw. A grown man crying so long after the fact.
I digress,
2) My Mom would see something wrong and go and help write a bill and change it. Well I am going to go to Washinton It was released a few days ago, that all our medical info will be put on the web. They want to slim down on our elder care. A woman by the name of BETSY MCCAUGTOY has let the cat out of the bag, that it was slipped in late on Saturday night while we slept. This action will put our privacy out into the world for all to see. And it also lets our govnernment get in between us and our doctors and the hospitals. It means the ones that are supposed to be making our life better will be telling our doctores what to do with our care and to stop care that we may need! How Dare they!!
California is telling the Hill not to send them money in this so called bailout. They want to release prisoners from their jails. Now just like Texas said they were only going to release people that only have a short time to go on their sentance. And non violent offenders. Remember Rosebud, Texas! They will not release the everyday smoker of marijuana or the medical marijuana people.
They do not see the importance of marijuana, and how it will help the care of our elders in so many ways. And keep our prison system from being so full for nothing reasons like swiping a mop or smoking marijuana for any reason. I do not see that the DEA makes more money for raiding the medical marijuana growers. They actually can make more money by legalizing it. I must be blind. I think this so called bailout is more control instead of Americans taking care of our selfs. I see government control on the rise. I want freedom from this government that is getting bigger and more controling as the minutes tick by. Chi
